Saheed Alaran, former chairman of Iseyin local government, heads the standing committee, which comprises experienced educators such as Prince Femi Olalere, Ademola Wasiu, Alhazan Abiodun, and others. Their responsibilities include collecting scholarship application forms, reviewing submissions, and conducting eligibility tests for applicants. Yemisi Iranloye, the founder and managing director of Psaltry International Company Limited, outlined how the program was established to facilitate access to higher education for underprivileged children of cassava farmers, enabling them to pursue their dreams of becoming business managers and employers. She noted that the scholarship scheme encompasses a wide range of courses, including natural sciences like medicine, social sciences, law, and other management disciplines. Beneficiaries also have the opportunity to develop skills through holiday jobs, seminars, and mentorship during academic breaks. Iranloye emphasized, "Although our farmers have made significant progress through their partnership with us and have been able to send their children to primary and secondary schools, they lack the resources to provide especially bright female and male children with the opportunity for higher education."
