IAPrecision, a Nigerian Agritech start-up specializing in drone technology for agriculture, has won the Orange Corners Innovation Fund (OCIF) pitch competition for cohort 7 of Orange Corners Nigeria. The competition, organized by the Kingdom of the Netherlands in partnership with a local service provider, awarded IAPrecision the first prize of €40,000 for its groundbreaking work in using drones and data technologies to detect and combat crop disease and pest infestation. The founder of IAPrecision, Femi Adekoya, expressed gratitude to Orange Corners Nigeria, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and Fate Foundation for their support in granting the prize. Adewale Adesanwo, Queen Uwabuofu, Rebecca Andeshi, and Uzoma Chidimma also received cash prizes. Orange Corners aims to foster entrepreneurship in Nigeria by providing young entrepreneurs with a six-month incubation program and facilitating connections with the private sector.
